This course introduces the refrigeration cycle, comfort and precision cooling fundamentals, and the federal refrigerant-handling requirements of EPA Section 608 that govern every technician who opens a refrigerant circuit in the United States.
MEC 1602Chillers, CRAH & Cooling Towers
This course covers the facility-scale chiller plant, computer-room air handler (CRAH), and cooling-tower systems that reject heat from a data-center facility water loop before it reaches any liquid-cooling or air-cooling terminal equipment.

MEC 2601Liquid Cooling — Direct-to-Chip & Rear-Door
This is the flagship mechanical course of the SAVRN Learning Institute, covering direct-to-chip (D2C) and rear-door heat-exchanger liquid cooling for high-density AI accelerator racks.
Prerequisite: MEC 1602
MEC 2602Cooling Pods, Dry Coolers & Heat Rejection
This course covers modular cooling pods, dry coolers, and the outdoor heat-rejection equipment that completes a liquid-cooled data-center thermal chain once heat has been carried out of the rack by a CDU or rear-door heat exchanger.
