Reference design · not a commissioned facility

Self-powered AI factory campus: reference design

This case translates the SAVRN system into an auditable design brief. Site capacity, equipment selections, permits, contracts, schedules, and performance remain project-specific and conditional.

Decision boundary

The design begins by defining IT load separately from total facility load and by stating whether self-powered means peak capacity, annual energy, or continuous operation. Utility exchange, fuel, emissions, redundancy, maintenance, and black start remain visible.

  • Hourly electrical and thermal balance
  • Largest-outage and maintenance states
  • Closed-loop cooling and whole-site water balance
  • Protection, islanding, commissioning, and operating telemetry

Evidence required before an operating claim

A production claim requires executed agreements, approved engineering, equipment records, test results, and operating telemetry. Until those records exist, this remains a reference design.
